Since 1950, we have participated in nearly every major public lands victory.

Our Story

We are all adults in North Mississippi who work on creating inclusive spaces and helping individuals in need.  Over the years, we have heard a number of stories about LGBTQ+ youth and young adults who have suffered housing and food insecurity after coming out, and who have struggled to find counseling and appropriate medical care.  We decided to establish a fund to try and help during such crises, instead of hearing about these situations after the fact.

We look forward to the day when an LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund is no longer necessary and all young people have the resources, support, and safety they need.
